The Curriculum Project
Panel discussion, featuring one faculty, one student, and one community partner responding to the Curriculum Project report, downloadable from The Curriculum Project website. Followed by general discussion of challenges and opportunities in engaged curriculum and each person sharing a burning question they have about such work. In preparation, read either the whole report or the 7 page Overview. |
| 2:15 - 3:15 |
Three small breakout groups will concurrently cover the following topics:
- Share courses and projects with public scholarship components involving students at each campus.
- Troubleshoot syllabi/ program descriptions which participants will have brought with them.
- Discuss ways to support community partners through this economic downturn.
|
| 3:15 - 4:00 |
Report back to the whole group. The scribes from the previous session will sum up the key ideas. We'll talk about what we most need as next steps in both The Curriculum Project and the Tenure Team Initiative. At the very end, we'll fill out brief evaluations.
